Thanks to its innovative hybrid drive system the Ferrari 296 GTS is one of the most powerful open-top sports cars on the market. In order to make the Italian two-seater even more thrilling and individual, the NOVITEC technical specialists and designers have developed a broad refinement range. The tailor-made naked-carbon bodywork components not only lend the powerful mid-engine car even more spectacular looks, but also optimize the aerodynamics. The NOVITEC NF10 high-tech alloy wheels were designed in cooperation withVossen. Their combination of 21 and 22 inches at the front and rear places even greater emphasis on the wedge shape of the Ferrari. In order to amplify the fascination further, a NOVITEC upgrade boosts the performance of the drop-top sports car besides. The turbocharged six-cylinderengine can be upgraded with flow-optimized turbo inlets, a NOVITEC high-performance exhaust system and sports catalysts. The result of these modifications is an increase in output by 38 horsepower, bumping the systemoutput to 638 kW / 868 hp. The philosophy of the NOVITEC designers has been successful for decades: Make the world’s most exclusive automobiles even more exciting and further optimize their aerodynamic efficiency. They developed bodywork components produced from naked carbon and finished with a high-gloss sealer for the 296 GTS with retractable roof. NOVITEC gives the front of the Ferrari a striking facelift. The production bumper is upgraded with a front lip spoiler and a spoiler for the large air intake, which sharpen the looks and also reduce front-axle lift. The distinctive ducktail rear spoiler increases rear-axle downforce at high speeds. NOVITEC offers a diffuser and cover for the rear camera as an aesthetically harmonious complement to this aerodynamic-enhancement component. They are likewiseproduced from carbon fiber. NOVITEC carbon rocker panels and the trim for the side view mirrors and quarter glass visually upgrade the sides of the Spider. The fine-tuning also includes the covers for the side air intakes at the rear of the vehicle. They deflect the airflow even more precisely into the vents behind both doors to supply the engine with combustion and cooling air.


The NF 10 alloy wheels with five delicate twin spokes are equally elementary for the thrilling NOVITEC looks for the open-top Ferrari. These components are also part of the hydraulic height adjustment of the front axle, which NOVITEC offers to make it easier to manage speed bumps or ramps in parking garages. This systemenables raising the front by about 40 millimeters at the touch of a button in the cockpit. The vehicle reverts to the production level at a second touch of the button or automatically upon reaching a speed of 80 km/h. NOVITEC realizes additional power with targeted modifications to the engine peripherals of the twin-turbo six-cylinder of the 296 GTS. The intake side uses flow-optimized custom turbo inlets. Likewise flow-optimized are the high-performance exhaust systems, which are made from stainless steel or optionally from INCONEL, an especially light high-tech alloy also used in Formula 1 racing. All variants are fitted with thermal insulation to lower the temperatures in the engine bay. Moreover, the lightweight version is available with additional 999 fine gold plating. All exhaust systems can be ordered with actively controlled butterfly valves integrated into the exhaust that make it possible to vary the exhaust note from inside the cockpit. In combination with the likewise thermally insulated 100-cell sports catalysts, peak output of the internal combustion engine in this configuration jumps by 28 kW / 38 hp. The MGU-K electric motor of the hybrid drive system remains stock. The result is a system output of 638 kW / 868 hp. The NOVITEC exhaust system is visually topped off by two tailpipes with a diameter of 102 millimeters. They are integrated into the rear fascia by means of a special wire mesh insert. The tailpipes likewise offer a choice of various versions, including a carbon coating and the particularly exclusive 999 fine gold plating. In addition, NOVITEC offers cockpit refinement for all Ferrari models realized with perfect craftsmanship in order to express maximum individuality. The company uses the finest leathers and Alcantara in a virtually endless variety of colors for this purpose.
